Personal data

On this demo, the booking request sends and stores nothing: your answers stay in your browser and disappear when you leave the page. The .ics file is made in your browser.

On a real site, this is what we would state. Data controller: the operators of La Longère des Brévaux (fictional). Purpose: replying to your booking request and organising your stay. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request.

Data collected: dates, accommodation, number of guests by age band (for capacity and the tourist tax), whether you bring a pet, arrival time, dietary requirements if you give any, first name, last name, email, and if you wish phone, country and message. No date of birth, no ID document.

Recipients: your hosts only. Retention: 3 years after your last stay or contact, then deletion.

Your rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, by writing to donnees@longere-brevaux.example (fictional address). If you think your rights are not respected, you can complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr), the French data protection authority.

Cookies

This site uses no advertising cookies, no analytics, no trackers, and no map, font or video loaded from another site.

Three preference cookies may be set, only if you agree to remember a display setting: “theme” (light or dark), “contraste” (high or normal contrast) and “taille-texte” (large or extra-large text). They are kept for 1 year. Without your agreement, the setting applies to the current visit only.

Accessibility

This demo is designed to be usable with a keyboard and a screen reader: checked contrast, dark theme, high contrast, adjustable text size, reduced motion if your device asks for it. The calendar can be used entirely with a keyboard and announces every date (available or not, and its price).

It is checked by automated tests (axe, WCAG 2.2 level AA) but has not had a full RGAA audit.
